MEMORANDUM
MERHIGE, District Judge.
Plaintiff female employees of defendant General Electric Company (GE) seek class relief from alleged sex employment discrimination practices by the defendant in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. The employment practice complained of is GE’s denial of sickness and disability benefits to employees absent because of pregnancy.
