MEMORANDUM AND ORDER ON DEFENDANT’S MOTIONS FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT

This is a putative class action alleging unfair and deceptive practices in the online sale of automobile-insurance policies. *486Plaintiffs Wanda Estrada, Walter Estrada, J.E., Natalie Estrada, Carmen Badillo, and Jose Burgos purchased automobile insurance from defendant Progressive Direct Insurance Company.1 Plaintiffs were all denied personal-injury-protection (“PIP”) benefits by defendant after they were involved in automobile accidents because they purchased insurance policies with an $8,000 PIP deductible.…
