This action of assumpsit on a promissory note was brought against the administrator of the estate of Robert A. Wilber, late of South Kingstown, deceased. The defendant pleaded the general issue and the statute of limitations. The case was tried before a justice of the superior court sitting with a jury. During the trial the parties agreed that all preliminary steps necessary to bring this action were duly taken.
