CLIFFORD, Justice.
Ronald Hood, the defendant and third party plaintiff in this action, appeals the denial of his motion for attachment and trustee process against third party defendant Debra James. In denying Hood’s motion, the Superior Court (Kennebec County, Chandler, J) found that Hood failed to demonstrate a reasonable likelihood of sue-*196cess on his third party complaint seeking contribution or indemnification. Finding no error or abuse of discretion, we affirm.
