The present appeal is taken from an order fixing the amount of an inheritance tax to be paid to the state of California by Elizabeth Lamb, defendant and appellant. At the hearing in the court below, plaintiff, John S. Chambers, as controller of the state of California, and Elizabeth Lamb, defendant, stipulated as follows: In February, 1909, William D.
