In 1921 H. Conrads and Ed. Kaseh were, and for several years prior thereto had been, engaged as partners in breeding, growing, and selling high-grade planting cotton seed. In June, 1921 a corporation was formed known as the “Kaseh Pedigreed Seed Farms,” with offices at San Marcos, Tex., and with a capital stock of $30,000, divided into 15,000 shares of $2 each. Of this stock Kaseh subscribed 4,243 shares and Conrads for 4,242 shares. The remainder was subscribed in small amounts by some 55 or 56 farmers throughout that territory.
