Berman v. Levenstein

This is a workmen’s compensation case and the question is solely one of fact. The main issue is whether on the 7th day of September, 1924, while the petitioner was working in a slaughter house belonging to one of the defendants and under the employment of another defendant, the brother of the first, he was injured while preparing a calf to be slaughtered, by the calf breaking away and treading upon the petitioner’s right foot.
