delivered the opinion of the court.
Mrs. Kopta, plaintiff, filed an action at law against three corporations, to recover damages for their alleged negligence, by which she was injured June 2, 1943, when a passenger on an elevator in the building at 2024 Wabash avenue in the City of Chicago. At the close of the evidence each defendant moved for an instructed verdict in its favor.
