STREIT, Justice.

An Illinois law firm regularly represented an Iowa insurance company’s insureds in Illinois. After the law firm allegedly botched an appeal to the Illinois Appellate Court, the Iowa company filed a legal malpractice claim against the law firm in Linn County, Iowa. In a preanswer motion, the law firm alleged lack of personal jurisdic tion, improper venue, and forum non con-veniens. The district court denied the motion and we granted the law firm’s interlocutory appeal. We find the law firm had sufficient minimum contacts with the state of Iowa to warrant personal jurisdiction.…
