Danny R. Bush appeals his conviction of robbery.

Bush’s robbery conviction is based upon the following facts. At approximately 2:00 a.m. on December 4, 1995, Bush entered the Dairy Mart on West Main Street in Springfield. The cashier — a fifty-five-year-old woman of slight build— observed Bush taking beer from a cooler and placing it into the pockets of his army jacket.
