Petitioner Francis V. Geddes seeks review of a determination of the Benefits Review Board, U.S. Department of Labor, which denied his claim for back pay and benefits under section 49 of the Longshoremen’s and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (the “Act”).1 That section prohibits an employer from discriminating against an employee because the employee has claimed compensation under the Act.
