This is an action to foreclose a mechanic’s lien on property located at 1815 Scheffer avenue, St. Paul. The district court for Ramsey county gave judgment for plaintiff for $5,644.62 and decreed that plaintiff is entitled to a lien on the property.

In May 1947, Benjamin Specktor, then owner of the unimproved property, requested plaintiff to submit a bid for masonry brickwork for the house to be built on the property.
