REINHARD, Judge.

Defendant appeals from a judgment of conviction following a jury verdict of guilty of the offense of murder first degree. The court sentenced him to serve a term of life imprisonment in the Department of Corrections.

*11Since defendant does not challenge the sufficiency of the evidence, a brief summary of the facts concerning the murder will suffice. Other facts are discussed in relation to defendant’s points on appeal.
