The defendant appeals from a judgment entered upon the verdict of the jury in the sum of $5,652.17 as damages for the destruction by fire, resulting from the defendant’s negligence, of a lot of beans which were stored in the warehouse of the defendant at Santa Susanna, in Ventura County.
