The defendant, James Riels, pled guilty to two counts of premeditated murder and two counts of felony murder for the murders of Mary Jane Cruchon and Franchion Pollack. 1 He also entered guilty pleas to one count of especially aggravated robbery, one count of attempted especially aggravated robbery, and one count of aggravated burglary.
