HANNA, Judge.

Movant Baird claims that he was entitled to an evidentiary hearing on his Rule 24.035 motion. The record before the motion court adequately supports the court’s decision to deny Rule 24.035 relief without a hearing.

The guilty plea testimony reveals that the charges and convictions arose out the following facts. Movant broke into the home of Mrs. Jones on October 6, 1991, with the intent to steal. Mrs. Jones was 79 years old. He found Mrs. Jones in bed, pulled up her nightgown, pulled off her underwear, put a knife to her throat and attempted to have sexual intercourse with her.…
