INTRODUCTION

Montgomery Ward, LLC (“Montgomery Ward”) once operated one of the largest retail organizations in the United States. To conduct its business, Montgomery Ward and its affiliates (collectively, the “Debtors”) entered into contracts for the construction and operation of its department stores. Unfortunately, circumstances caused the Debtors to file for bankruptcy twice within three years.
