Appeal from Jefferson Circuit Court — His Hon. Judge Thomas Douglas, presiding. This was an action of assumpsit, brought by plaintiff as endorsee of a promissory note, of which the following is a copy: $106 46. This is a suit institued by Sessions against Stevens,' in the Court below, on a note for $106, payable the 1st of September, 1842, to Adam Wyrick, and by him assigned to plaintiff.
