This is an appeal by the defendant from a judgment rendered in favor of the plaintiff and order denying a new trial. The action was instituted by the plaintiff to recover of the defendant the sum of $1,600 damages, being" the value of personal property consisting of live stock alleged to have been converted by the defendant. The jury having found a verdict in favor of the plaintiff, for the sum of $1,858.75, judgment wan rendered for that amount.
