Jamarole Aldridge, a Georgia prisoner, appeals the district court’s denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2254. The district court granted Aldridge a certificate of appealability (“COA”) on the claims that the prosecutor engaged in misconduct and his appellate counsel was ineffective for failing to investigate and raise the resulting prosecutorial misconduct claim during Aldridge’s direct appeal.
