I. INTRODUCTION
The United States brings this action pursuant to section 881(a)(6) of Title 21 of the United States Code seeking forfeiture of two sums of currency—$22,173 and $55,-800—that were seized from Henry Dunn’s apartment and safe-deposit box by New York City Police Department officers (“NYPD”).
