This is an appeal from the denial of appellants’ motion for summary judgment and the granting of appellee’s motion for summary judgment.

BACKGROUND

When Tammy Haynes became pregnant with her second child, she sought prenatal care from Peter Kuhl, M.D. Kuhl delivered Tammy’s second child at Methodist Hospital. Following the birth, Tammy experienced periodic episodes of heavy vaginal bleeding.
