Plaintiff, on the 6th day of February 1869, brought an action of covenant, in the Circuit Court of Ohio county, against the Defendant upon a policy of insurance issued by the Defendant to Plaintiff, on nine-sixteenths interest of the steamboat “Potomac,” to navigate the Ohio river between Pittsbugh, Pa., and Louisville, in the State of Kentucky for the term of one year from the 18th of September 1867.
