The information charges the defendant with being a disorderly person according to subdivision 1 of section 899 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, in that he actually abandoned his wife and two children without adequate support and left his wife and two children in danger of becoming a burden upon the public and neglected to provide for them according to his means. The only evidence in the case was the testimony given by Anna McAdam, the wife of the defendant.
