It appears, from the case submitted to this court for their opinion, that John Stoddart, and the firm of Moore, Myers, and Company, had considerable dealings together, and that they were desirous of mutual accommodation, which was afforded by lending to, and endorsing notes for each other, and which proved, as is often the ease, ruinous to both parties.
