This is an action to recover monthly disability benefits under a group accident and health insurance policy issued by defendant to the Union Pacific Rail*399road Employees Hospital Association to provide such, benefits to Union Pacific employees for disability “as the result of bodily injury arising from accidental cause.” Defendant appeals from a judgment awarding such recovery to plaintiff, after a trial before the court, without a jury.

Plaintiff’s fingers were frostbitten, requiring amputation, as the result of exposure to cold while employed by the Union Pacific Railroad to keep switches…
