On July 29, 1960, the District Court of Lake of the Woods County issued its order denying defendant’s petition for a writ of coram nobis. Defendant then applied to this court for a writ of error to review the order of the district court. While defendant has misconceived the function of both a writ of coram nobis 1 and a writ of error, in view of the fact that defendant appears here without the aid of counsel, we have examined the entire record, including a transcript of the trial proceedings, numerous affidavits, letters and so-called briefs that have been filed since the…
