CUMMINGS, Circuit Judge.

Plaintiff brought this suit to obtain job reinstatement with proper “seniority, status and pay,” including lost wages, under the reemployment provisions of the Vietnam Veterans’ Readjustment Act (38 U.S.C. § 2024(d) and (e)). Plaintiff is an honorably discharged veteran whose suit was instituted by the Department of Justice under 38 U.S.C. § 2022. He commenced work as an assemblyman at defendant American Motors Corporation’s Kenosha, Wisconsin, plant on September 14, 1970.
