OPINION
WEISBERGER, Justice.
The defendant, Tony E. Lemon, was charged with six counts of robbery and three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, all arising out of an alleged robbery at the Firestone Rubber Company on North Main Street in Providence on September 7, 1978. After a jury trial in the Superior Court, the defendant was found guilty on all nine counts set forth in the indictment.
