The Berwick Hotel Company, a corporation of this Commonwealth, sued in assumpsit to recover from defendant the sum of $5,370, with interest, alleged to be due and owing plaintiff as the unpaid balance on a subscription for sixty shares of the capital stock of plaintiff company, to be paid in ten installments, the first on January 1, 1924, and the last on July 1, 1924.
