Appeal from a corrected order of the Family Court of Otsego County (Coccoma, J.), entered October 19, 2006, which, among other things, granted petitioner’s application, in five proceedings pursuant to Family Ct Act article 6, to modify a prior order of custody.
Petitioner (hereinafter the father) and respondent (hereinafter the mother) are the parents of one son (born in 2000). The mother had sole custody of the child, but, in July 2005, the father filed a petition to modify custody alleging, among other things, that the child was being abused while in the mother’s home.
