This case arises out of a traffic accident that occurred when appellant Hennepin County Sheriffs Deputy Jason Lee Maje-ski’s emergency vehicle struck respondent Jolene Megan Vassallo’s vehicle as Deputy Majeski was responding to an emergency call. The central issue presented is whether Deputy Majeski individually, and his employer appellant Hennepin County, are entitled to official immunity and vicarious official immunity, respectively.
