This appeal arises from the granting of defendants’ motion for a directed verdict in a tort action for personal injuries sustained by the plaintiff-appellant, Richard D. Pruett, in a fall from the roof of an office building during its construction. At the time of the accident, Pruett was employed by Embe Construction Company, the masonry and plastering subcontractor on the job.
