1Opinion of the CourtHastings, C.J.

Plaintiffs appeal the order of the district court sustaining defendants’ motion for summary judgment. The court’s order quieted title in defendants to a portion of the east 20 feet of the west 40 feet of vacated Buckingham Avenue. Plaintiffs assign as error (1) the failure of the trial court to interpret and apply Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 14-115 and 14-3,107 (Reissue 1991), (2) the failure of the trial court to grant plaintiffs’ motion for default judgment against defendant Zigmond Chrostek, and (3) the *399sustaining of defendants’ motion for summary judgment.
