After a jury trial, defendant was convicted of murder (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 38, par. 9—1) and arson (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 38, par. 20—1(a)) and was sentenced to a term of 60 to 100 years on the murder conviction.
