This is an appeal by three plaintiffs from judgments rendered in favor of defendants in three separate actions to cancel certain mineral deeds and to quiet title to plaintiffs’ respective tracts of land.

The cases were tried as a single action. The evidence was substantially the same in each case. The plaintiff landowners were Horatio H. Tawney, John Pearson and W. F. Loflin. The defendants were G. T. Blankenship, the Equal Royalty Company and the Royalty Holding Company, both nonresident corporations. Service on defendants was had by…
