In 1921 tbe plaintiffs owned, and, by tbe terms of a certain land contract, agreed to sell to defendant’s decedent, a tract of land, wbicb decedent agreed to purchase for a fixed consideration, to be paid in installments. Tbe contract provided, among its other provisions, that if tbe purchase money, interest, taxes, etc., were fully paid, tbe vendors were to convey tbe premises. It was further stipulated that in case of default tbe vendors might elect to treat tbe contract as void.

Tbe decedent received and held possession of tbe premises until June 16, 1934, wbicb was tbe date , of his death.…
