In this habeas corpus proceeding the applicant for the writ, an enrolled tribal member of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, questions the jurisdiction of the Circuit Court of Bennett County, South Dakota, which m 1955 convicted him of the crime of forgery in the third degree.
