The plaintiff, a seller of automobiles, appeals from a judgment entered for the defendant, Northampton National Bank (bank), in the Superior Court. The plaintiff brought this action under G. L. c. 93A, § 2, claiming that it was an unfair practice for the bank to include a provision on the back of a check, issued jointly to a new car buyer and to the plaintiff, whereby the endorser warranted that the bank had been listed as the first lienholder in the application for the certificate of title for the automobile.
