MONTEMURO, Judge:

Appellant, Dennis Yetter, appeals from an order granting preliminary objections in favor of appellee, Ward Trucking Company, for failure to state a cause of action in wrongful discharge and defamation. Appellant raises two issues on appeal: (1) whether Pennsylvania should recognize a cause of action for defamation based upon compelled self-publication of the defamatory statement; and (2) whether Pennsylvania recognizes a cause of action for wrongful discharge based on specific intent to harm the employee. 1 We affirm the dismissal of the complaint, as we agree with the trial…
