In May, 1935, the defendant in error, Dingfelder & Balish, a corporation, delivered to the Texas & New Orleans Railroad Company, at Floresville and Poth, Texas, twenty-nine carloads of onions for transportation to New York. The onions were carried by the railroad company to Galveston where same were turned over by the railroad company to the Southern Pacific Company (who operates Southern Pacific Steamship Lines) fox further transportation to desitination — the City of New York.
