The petitioner is the owner of two establishments in the City of Baltimore in which are operated a number of so-called “peep shows.” Peep shows are individual viewing machines, showing portions of adult motion pictures and activated by the frequent deposit of coins in the machine. On three different occasions in late 1971 and-early 1972, the two businesses were raided by officers of the Baltimore City Police Department acting pursuant to a warrant.
