Appellant, Rodney Anderson, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, over four grams but less than 200 grams, and aggravated assault of a public servant. 1 The jury found him guilty, and he was sentenced to 40 years’ imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice— Correctional Institution Division for the possession offense, and life imprisonment for the aggravated assault.
