In this diversity action, Shook & Fletcher Insulation Company (“Shook & Fletcher”), the appellee and cross-appellant, sued Central Rigging & Contracting Corporation (“Central Rigging”) and Central Rigging’s surety, Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, the appellants and cross-appellees,1 for several claims arising in connection with the construction of a cement factory in Demopolis, Alabama.
