Plaintiff sued Midwest Floor Company, Independent Oil Company and Shell Oil Company alleging they were negligent in failing to warn her of dangers involved in the use of Cyclo Sol 63, a petroleum solvent, as a cleaning agent. During the trial, plaintiff voluntarily dismissed Midwest, who she alleged gave her the product. At the conclusion of plaintiff’s evidence, the trial court sustained a motion for directed verdict for Independent, who is alleged to have sold the solvent to Midwest.
