This appeal involves an action for damage to freight resulting from the partial spoilage of meat carried under refrigeration by appellant, Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company (B & 0) from Chicago to Washington. There is no question that the meat arrived in damaged condition — although the railroad disputes the extent of this damage.
