A suit was filed in the chancery court on September 15, 1938, to recover judgment and to foreclose a lien of a second mortgage on lot 9, block 4, Chesterfield Square Addition to the city of Little Rock. The appellants offered several defenses to prevent a recovery and foreclosure of this second mortgage.
