Plaintiff (SST) is the owner of thirteen grain elevators, referred to as country elevators, which buy soybeans and other products from local farmers. One of the country elevators, Falls City Grain Company, is located in Falls City, Nebraska. Defendant (Far-Mar-Co) operates a larger receiving elevator in St. Joseph, Missouri, which buys soybeans and then supplies them to an affiliate, Farmland Soy Processing.
