In an action to recover damages for dental malpractice, the defendant appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Clemente, J.) dated May 6, 1991, as granted the plaintiff’s motion for leave to amend her complaint to assert a cause of action to recover damages for lack of informed consent.

Ordered that the order is reversed insofar as appealed from, as a matter of discretion, with costs, and the motion for leave to assert a cause of action to recover damages for lack of informed consent is denied.
