—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings *586County (Miller, J.), rendered February 24, 1992, convicting him of burglary in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant contends for the first time on appeal that he was deprived of a fair trial because the trial court failed to conduct an inquiry of an apparently sleeping juror.
